Obituary of Rebecca Wells

Rebecca Rae Wells, 46, of Lake Villa, Illinois, passed away April 16, 2024. She was born April 6, 1978 to parents Scott and Geralynn Wells.

Rebecca previously lived in Waukegan, Illinois. She graduated from Westlake Christian Academy in Grayslake, Illinois. She was a member of the Cornerstone Community Church in Wadsworth, Illinois. Rebecca worked for ID Label Inc. In Lake Villa, Illinois and Brookstone Printing Company in Kenosha, Wisconsin.  Rebecca liked her job at Brookstone and the people she worked with, including her boss. She said it was a good place and she enjoyed the work in the commercial printing industry. Rebecca loved her faith in Jesus. She always talked about what she was learning. Just recently she was reading a new book by Pastor Tony Evans. She was always trying to grow in her faith. She wrote in her journal and read her bible daily.

Rebecca loved her daughter Rachel dearly. She was planning her 13th birthday coming up on May 1st. Rebecca already had four of her gifts wrapped along with a card. She loved her daughter, how could she not, she’s a beautiful girl and there is nothing she wouldn’t do for her.

Rebecca is survived by her daughter, Rachel Rose Durniat; father, Scott Wells; step-mother, Sue Ann Wells; niece, Allison Smith; and nephew, Steven Smith.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her mother, Geralynn Wells; and sister, Erin Wells.

Visitation will be held Saturday May 4, 2024 at Cornerstone Community Church 40413 N. Delany Road Wadsworth, Illinois 60083 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
