William B. Middleton, 67, of Zion, Illinois, passed away on June 2, 2025.

Born on November 1, 1957, William dedicated his life to service and community. He proudly served with the City of Zion Police Department for 25 years, where he was known for his integrity, compassion, and unwavering commitment to protecting.

He is survived by his son, Andrew (Elesha) Middleton; his mother, Carolyn Stevens; sisters, Michelle Shumaker, Susan (Kenneth) Graham, and Patricia Middleton; and brother, Brian Middleton. He also leaves behind his stepbrothers, Tom Stevens and Tracy Stevens; as well as 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, William Middleton; his father and stepmother, Billy and Marge Middleton; and his stepfather, James Stevens and stepbrother Tim Stevens.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
