William Kamholz

William Frederick Kamholz, 81, of Beach Park, Illinois, passed away on May 19, 2026.

William was born July 18, 1944 in Waukegan, Illinois, where he grew up and graduated from Waukegan High School. He later move to San Diego, California for a time before moving back to Waukegan, Illinois. William married Linda in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1998.  William was a Civilian Merchant Marine for Scrapps Institution Oceanography.

He is survived by his children, Jeff and John; grandchildren, Samantha, Cody, Arlez, and Athen; sister, Shirly Paulson; brother-in-law, Robert Paulson; nephews, Mark and David; and nieces, Laura and Susan.

William was preceded in death four years prior by his wife, Linda McGunness Kamholz.
