Virginia Hogston

Virginia Hogston, born on December 20, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away on May 12, 2026, in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. She was surrounded by her family at the time of her passing.

Virginia was a beloved member of the Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wilmot, Wisconsin, and a previous resident of Trevor, Wisconsin, as well as Chicago, Illinois.Virginia married Jerry Hogston on July 5, 1957, in Chicago.

She is survived by her children, Clayton Hogston, Cynthia Bullis, Debra Benson, and Victoria Kearney; grandchildren, Ben, Em, Shannon, Courtney, Joshua, Jeremy, Ruslana, Vitalia, Caitlin, Nadine, Sean, and Colin. Her family extends to include 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Virginia is Preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Hogston; sister, Caroline Christ; parents, Fred and Lucy Christ and her son-in-law, William Moore.

The funeral service for Virginia will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church located at 11233 306th Avenue in Wilmot, Wisconsin 53192. Following the service, interment will take place at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park at 12:30 PM, located at 1436 Kenosha Road in Zion, Illinois 60099.
