Ronald Earl Goins

Ronald Earl Goins was born on September 2, 1950, to Lela and Douglas Goins in Los Angeles, California. He passed away peacefully on September 9, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Ronald was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his daughter, Rene’ Donelli, and son-in-law, Chuck Donelli; his sister, Starla Goins; and his beloved grandchildren, Kaylyn, Nick, Charles, and Devin.

Ronald was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Brenda; his son, Michael; his brother, Gordon and his parents, Douglas and Lee. Though their loss was a part of his life, Ronald carried their memories and love with him throughout the years.

Ronald proudly dedicated 24 years of his life to the United States Navy, serving as a Chief Petty Officer in Electronic Warfare. Throughout his distinguished military career, he served during both the Vietnam War and the Cold War. His commitment to his country was a source of great pride, and his years of service reflected his dedication, strength, and sense of duty.

After retiring from the Navy, Ronald devoted his time to what mattered most to him: his family. He cherished watching his family grow and took great pride in the lives of his children and grandchildren. He was always there with kindness, love, and a heart full of generosity.

Ronald had a remarkable ability to make everyone he met feel cared for and welcomed. He loved everyone he ever met and never hesitated to offer a smile, a helping hand, or a kind word. He was truly one of the sweetest and most kind-hearted individuals anyone could have the privilege of knowing.

Ronald had a favorite saying that perfectly reflected the warmth and positivity he shared with everyone:

“I hope you have a great day... and much better tomorrow.”

Those words were more than just a saying; they were a reflection of Ronald himself. He wanted the people around him to be happy, to have hope, and to know that tomorrow could always be better.

His love, warmth, gentle spirit, and kindness will live on through his family and all those whose lives he touched. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will remain in the hearts of his loved ones forever.
