Richard Stoneberg

Richard A. Stoneberg, 63, of Winthrop Harbor, IL, passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 26th, 2008 at home. "Uncle Dick" as he was fondly known by friends and co-workers, was born September 23, 1944 in Waukegan, IL. For the last several years he was employed by Curran Contracting and was a member of Teamsters Local 301. Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Lou, of 36 years; his children, Pete (Allison) Stoneberg, LeAnne Olson; grandchildren, Elizabeth, A.J., Kayla, Teagan, and Avery; brother, Don (Sandy) Stoneberg; and sisters, Jeanne Call and Doris Leable. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Fern Stoneberg; and one brother, Clifford. A cemetery chapel service will be held on Monday, June 30, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Illinois Children's Burn Camp, P.O.Box 911, Mt. Prospect, IL 60056.
