Renee Angel Paxton

Renee A. Paxton (ne Myrna Nolte) left her earthly home to be with her Lord and Savior May 8, 2025 after losing her long battle with Heart Disease at Vitas Hospice care in West Allis, Wisconsin. 

Renee worked at Chrysler Motors in Kenosha Wisconsin for 32 years until her retirement in 2000.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her lifetime partner and former husband, John Paxton of Winthrop Harbor; children, Jerry Benson (Lori) of Kenosha, Cheryl Sorn of Somers, and Laurie Benson of Somers; step children, Timothy Paxton of Zion and Traci Quintero of Pleasant Prairie. She also leaves many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Nolte; father, Charles Nolte; sister, Patty Weiner; daughter, Pamela Benson; step son, John J. Paxton; and her first husband, Bruce Benson. 

Services will be held at Memorial United Methodist church in Zion Saturday May 24 , 2025 with pastor Kwado Ntim officiating.

A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.

Inurnment will be at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park in Zion. Donations to Vitas Hospice in West Allis, Wisconsin on behalf of the family is appreciated.
