Patrick H. Nyden

Patrick H. Nyden, 76, of Zion, IL, passed away peacefuly on April 15, 2026.

He was born on May 11, 1949 in Chicago, IL, the son of Edwin and Violet ( Allen) Nyden. He graduated from high school and shortly after served in the U.S. Army. After serving in the Army, he worked as a carpenter, and owned his own business installing hardwood floors. He enjoyed fishing, and golfing, as well as traveling to the Philippines and visiting local states.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Teresita Hallberg; three children; three grandchildren; sister, Sharon Kruckeberg; brother Edwin Nyden Jr.; and sister-in-law Mary Nyden.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ray Nuden, and Gerald (Kim) Nyden Sr.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 6:00 p.m. at, Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL.
