Michael Mueller Jr.

Michael N. Mueller Jr., 56, of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin passed away May 22, 2026. He was born January 5, 1970 in Skokie, Illinois to parents Michael and Sally Mueller.

Michael was a gentle soul and a man of faith. He was a beloved husband, father, son, and devoted family man. Raised in Wadsworth, he spent over 32 years working for the Illinois Tollway, retiring in December 2023. His retirement was short-lived, but he made the most of the time he had.

He loved being at home, enjoying his pool, hosting summer gatherings, tending to the garden, and spending time with his beloved German Shepherd, Prince. His wife, daughter, family, and friends are devastated by his loss.

Michael would want us to take comfort in knowing he is with God, free from pain and no longer suffering. He will be deeply and forever missed.

Michael is survived by his wife, Lisa Jones-Mueller; daughter, Christina Mueller; step-daughter, Marisa Jones; as well as nieces and nephews, Randi Mondus, Julian Meyer, and Kevin Meyer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael N. Mueller Sr. and Sally Mueller; and sister, Mary Meyer. 

A memorial service for Michael will be held Saturday June 13, 2026 beginning at 12:00 p.m. at The Well Church 9001 17th Avenue, Kenosha, WI 53143.
