Martha Evans

Martha Mary Evans, nee Wilton, 87, of Winthrop Harbor, IL, passed away on August 5, 2025 at Brookside Care Center in Kenosha, WI.

Martha was born on May 29, 1938 in Kenosha, WI. She graduated highschool from Mary D. Bradford in Kenosha. Martha married Hayden Evans on December 11, 1979 in Elizabeth City, NC. She was a member of the St. Therese Catholic Church in Kenosha. Martha enjoyed reading and doing ceramics. She loved to spend time with her grand children and great-grandchildren.

Martha is survived by her husband, Hayden Evans; children, Patrick Feldshaw, Edward Feldshaw and Nathan Evans; grandchildren, Devan Feldshaw Riley, Lauren Feldshaw, Adam Feldshaw, Lia Feldshaw and Avery Evans; five great-grandchildren; and a nephew, Patrick Clark.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Barden Wilton; father, Roy L. Wilton; sister, Margaret Wilton Heithe and Mary Wilton Owsichek; and a grandson Timothy Feldshaw.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025 from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL.
