Marlene Ann Bostick, 64, of Wadsworth, Illinois, died on Monday, September 18, 2006 at Condell Hospital in Libertyville.
Marlene was born December 24, 1941 in Waukegan and was a resident of this area all of her life. She has been employed for the past 33 years at the Waukegan K-Mart. She was an avid gardner, enjoyed crafting, and her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Charles; children Nancy (John) Esp of Wadsworth, Charles Bostick, Jr. (Lynda Palmer) of Wadsworth and Julie (Joe, Jr.) Leech of Winthrop Harbor; six grandchildren Johnny, Joseph, Justin, Chaz, Jared and Jenna; siblings Barb (David) Lesley of Wadsworth, Kathleen (Fred) Jackson of Beach Park, Karen (Greg) Orlando of Hoffman Estates, Illinois and Tom (Robin) Loew of Evanston, Illinois; two aunts Janice Thomas of Kenosha, Wisconsin and Betty Tajnai of Racine; two sisters-in-law Lucille Honey of Tuscumbia, Alabama and Opal Bostick of Chickamauga, Georgia; two brothers-in-law Rosco Bostick of Beach Park and Robert Bostick of Chickamauga, Georgia; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents Nordahle and Josephine Loew.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 21, 2006, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Mass of Christian burial will be Friday, September 22nd, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Humility Church, 10655 W. Wadsworth Road, Beach Park with Entombment to follow at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville.
