Marjorie Mae Everline

Marjorie Mae Everline, 94, passed away at her home in Zion, IL on July 9, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on January 9, 1931 in Dola, Ohio the daughter of August P. and Edna Marie (née Flowers) Willeke. Marjorie graduated from St. Paul Bible College. She married Howard P. Everline on June 11, 1955 in St. Paul, MN. She worked in the research department at Abbott as a data entry clerk until her retirement in 1991.

Marjorie enjoyed her time spent visiting with family and friends. In early spring she could be found planting flowers in her yard. Marjorie also enjoyed her traveling, especially during fall when all the the colors of nature are at their fullest.

Marjorie is survived by her son, Joel "J.B" Everline; nieces and nephews, Sue (Gerry) Bever, Bob (Judy) Willeke, Dennis (Darlene) Ferguson, Kim (Deb) Ferguson, Chuck (Colleen) Ferguson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard P. Everline; parents, August and Edna Willeke; brothers, Robert (Esther) Willeke, Dean Willeke; and sister, Doris (Orville)Ferguson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd. Zion, IL. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park in Zion, IL.
