Marilyn Sue Lackenbach

Marilyn Sue Lackenbach,78, passed away June 26, 2024, in Waukegan, Illinois 

She was born on August 27, 1945, in Waukegan, Illinois. Graduating from Cosmetology school, Marilyn dedicated fifty years in running her own in-home business as a hairdresser. She married Arthur Lackenbach on May 18, 1968 in Zion, Illinois and together grew a life together. 

She is survived by her children, Angela (Tony) Bean and Craig Lackenbach; grandchildren, Sean (Allison) Coutley, John Bean, Nathan Bean, Shelby (Marco) Jaimez Lilly Lackenbach, and Luke Lackenbach; four great-grandchildren; and sister Pamela Simons.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband Arthur Lackenbach; parents, Wilbure & Margaret Neeve; and brother Harry Neeve. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 4:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home located at 3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL 60099. Please join the family to N&T Family Restaurant, located at 3077 Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL 60099 following the service for continued fellowship.
