Macario J Conejo

Macario J. Conejo, 73, of Zion, IL, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2025.

He was born February 28, 1951 in Havana, Cuba. Macario married Kelly Luoma on April 18, 2003 in Lake County, IL. He worked for and retired from Colbert Packaging.Macario is survived by his wife, Kelly; son, Richard E. Conejo; step-son Dillon Diaguila; grandchildren, Ariel, Jordan, Julian, Benny and Maylene; siblings, Emilia, Martha and Carlos; cousins, Cari, Francisco, Pablo, Pedro and Aurelio; and an aunt, Gladys.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Simeon Pedro and Julia Conejo; sister, Caridad, and a brother, Artemio Pedro.

A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL. The memorial service will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
