Linda McDonald

Linda (née Whiteside) McDonald, 77, of Richland Center, WI, formerly of Zion, IL, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on June 5, 2026, in Kenosha, WI.

Linda was born on June 26, 1948, in Zion, IL, the daughter of Clarence Robert and Alice Georgia (née West) Whiteside. Linda graduated from Zion Benton High School and then attended Illinois State, where she received a master's degree and graduated with the class of 1971. She retired as an art teacher after 30 years from Libertyville High School.

Linda is survived by her husband, Ross McDonald; children, Heather McDonald, Abbe McDonald, and Paul McDonald; grandchildren, Mac, Peter, Charlotte, Stella, Mille, and Kaity Brown; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Alice Whiteside; brothers, Robert Whiteside and Charles Whiteside; and sister, Patricia Metten.
