Keonte Darnell Brooks

Keonte Darnell Brooks, 29, of Hampton, Georgia, passed away September 27, 2025 in Zion, Illinois. He was born January 1, 1996 in Stock Bridge, Georgia to parents, Johnnie Lewis Souder and Shondrell Patrice Brooks.

Keonte graduated from Locust Grove Highschool in Hampton Georgia and attended Zion Baptist Church. He worked for the City of Hampton, in the department of transportation.

Kenote was a loving and caring person in his community. He loved sports and spending time with friends and family. Keonte was also a self-proclaimed rapper, being known as Black AKA Lllingo, Backskreet4L HHH3200.

Keonte is survived by his brother Desmond Jones and several other brothers and sisters; grandparents, Steve McKibbins and Mary Frances Brooks-Walker; caregiver and godmother, Felicia Jester; and a host of aunts, uncles, neices, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Shondrell Patrice Brooks and Johhnnie Lewis Souder; and grandparents, Rosie Kate Jester and Kurtis Duffy.
