Joseph W. Musich

Joseph W. Musich, 82, of Wadsworth, IL passed away on August 20, 2025 in Zion, IL.

Joseph (also known as Bill in his younger years), was born on November 1, 1942, at Saint Therese Hospital in Waukegan, IL to Joseph Musich and Amelia (Celesnik) Musich. He attended Spaulding Grade School. He graduated from Waukegan High School in 1962 and went on to an electrical apprenticeship. He was a member of the IBEW Local 150 for 61 years. In 1966, Joe joined the Army Reserve Unit in Waukegan. He served for six years. Joe lived in Waukegan until he married his wife, Sharon Michaelson on May 27, 1967. In 1968 they built their home in Wadsworth, Illinois, where he resided until his illness in 2025. Joe’s interest was working on cars, riding motorcycles and snowmobiles. Joe and his brother Ray drag raced a Studebaker at Great Lakes Drag Strip from 1966 to 1970. Joe is survived by his son, Joseph Daniel Musich (Dawn), granddaughters Lily and Sarah Musich of Winthrop Harbor, brother Raymond Musich (Nancy) of Waukegan, IL, nephew Michael Musich (Laura) and Ethan and Amelie Musich of St Charles, IL.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Amelia Musich; and his beloved wife of 54 years, Sharon Musich.

Services for Joe will be held privately for the family, with interment at a later date at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park in Zion, IL.
