John Dennis

John Robert Dennis passed away peacefully at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha, Wisconsin, surrounded by family on June 17, 2025. He was born December 28, 1938 in Pennsylvania.

John was educated in the schools of Collegeville, Pennsylvania and he also attended the University of Chicago. John married the love of his life, Delores Dennis (née Fairman) in Sacramento, California in 1978. John was a prolific writer and homeschooled his children for many years. He enjoyed films, outdoor activities, and he spent many years as an avid cyclist.

He is survived by his wife, Delores Dennis; son, Michael (Jessica) Dennis; daughter, Michelle (Matthew) Christman; grandsons Alan (Sarah) Dennis-Christman, David Christman, Jonathan Christman, Matthew Christman, Liam Dennis, and Joshua Christman; granddaughters, Nikole (Andrew) Dennis-Kromm, Chelsea McDonald, Lillianna Dennis, Aurora Christman, Sophia Christman, and Elena Christman; great-granddaughters, Genesis Dennis-Kromm and Sapphira Dennis-Kromm; sister, Pamela Dennis; and brother, Lawrence (Evelyn) Dennis,

He was preceded in death by his parents, Foster and Elizabeth Dennis.

John brought great hope, creativity, and faith to all that he did. We are all better off for knowing him during his time on Earth.

Visitation will be held Friday June 27, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church 2020 91st Street Kenosha, Wisconsin 53143.
