Joel E. Gregerson

Joel Everett Gregerson, 66, of Beverly Hills, Florida and formerly of Zion, Illinois, passed away on August 30, 2025, in Red Bay, Alabama.

Joel was born on January 20, 1959, in Evanston, IL. He graduated from Zion Benton Township High School. Joel worked for NOSCO printing company for thirty years in Waukegan, IL, until his retirement. He then moved to Florida with his wife Tammy, to retire. Joel loved to spend time with his family and spend time in his garden growing vegetables. He enjoyed cooking and was known for his delicious lasagna.

He is survived by his wife of forty years, Tammy Gregerson; children, Jeremy (Christy) Gregerson, Jamie Oliver, Josh (Rosie) Gregerson, and John Schroeder; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Jim (Patty) Gregerson, Jet Talley, Keith Talley and Scott (Sam) Talley; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Joel was preceded in death by his mother, Hilda Marge Ponzio; father, Everett Matthew Gregerson; granddaughter, Alexis Oliver; brothers, Ed Gregerson and Chuck Gregerson; and sister, Rosemary Gherke.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL.
