Jeffrey Bogdala Sr

Jeffrey Bogdala Sr, born on October 13, 1959, in Waukegan, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home on June 16, 2026.

Jeffrey graduated from Waukegan High School and began a career marked by dedication and hard work. He eventually retired as a respected salesman at Nissan. He loved his family, grandkids, music, cars and outdoors. He was a lived by the moment type of guy.

He is survived by his children: Jennifer (Shane) Wathen, Edward Bogdala, and Jeffrey (Chrisy) Bogdala Jr.; grandchildren: Ryn Philp, Kada Lyn McGee, Annora Bogdala, Tyler Grizely, and Aaden Bogdala. Jeffrey also leaves behind his brothers, Hank (Linda) Bogdala and Kevin (Ruby) Bogdala, and his sister, Julie (Jerry Sr) Shields.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Beverly Bogdala, and his sister, Cynthia Bogdala.

Visitation will take place Saturday, June 27, 2026 at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm.
