Jean Pearson

It is with great sadness the we announce the passing of Jean Louise Pearson, 95 years of age of Waukegan Il. Jean went to be with our Lord peacefully at home on Friday October, 9 2026.

She was born June 4, 1931 to Charles and Helen Schroeder from Waukegan. After High School she married Donald R. Pearson. She was a loving and caring mother of 4 children. She later worked in the medical field. She worked tirelessly for various doctors till the age of 86. Greg and Jane moved back into the childhood home for the past 4 and half years to lovingly care for mom in her final time.

She was survived by her 2 sons Greg W. (Jane) of Waukegan, Donald R. (Jean) North Carolina and daughter Leslie Jean Langdon (John/Doug) of Wisconsin. She is further survived by her 8 grandchildren Shawna, David, Gregg Jr, Stephanie (Jeremy), Kyle (Lara) Kaitlyn (Matthew), Raymond, Guy. She had 10 Great grandchildren. Jean was survived by her sister Mary (Andy) Alloti and sisters-in-law Janice Schroeder (Charles) and Marlis (Richard) Pearson along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald R Pearson Sr., son Glenn Donald Pearson, parents Charles and Helen Schroeder, brothers Charles and Paul Schroder, sister Margaret/Peg Morrissey and son-in-law John/Doug Langdon.

After the passing of her husband Jean felt a need to provide care for a child who needed love and compassion. She found Jesse and brought him home where she raised him for the next 15 years until his passing.

A visitation will be held Wednesday October 21, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Winthrop Harbor 3001 9th St, Winthrop Harbor, IL 60096 with Pastor Corwin Wong officiating.
