George Budziak

George “Jerry” Budziak, 79, in the company of his family and friends passed into the gates of Heaven, after a long and painful series of illnesses, on August 24, 2016 at Rolling Hills Manor Nursing Home in Zion where he spent the last year of his life. George was preceded in death by his father and mother Henry and Lorraine Budziak; his Godchild Cindy Budziak; his sister Joan (and the late Fred Brown) Brown Smith; and one nephew Nick Brown. George is survived by his loving and caring brothers Daniel (Betty) Budziak of Winthrop Harbor, IL and Henry (Carmen) Budziak of MS and Leonard Budziak of Chicago, IL; nephews and nieces Daniel, Tim, John Sheryl, Lori Jo, Carrie, Ginny, Terry, and Michelle; and many great-nephews and great-nieces. He will be missed by all. The family of George will always remember the kind and loving care of the nurses and workers at Rolling Hills Manor and Barton Assisted Living, both of Zion, IL. Thank you all. Visitation will be Sunday, August 28, 2016, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, August 29th, 11:30 a.m., at All Saints Cathedral Church and Cemetery, 9201 W Higgins Road, Chicago, IL 60631, with visitation 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. time of service. Interment will follow at All Saints Cathedral Cemetery.
