Elizabeth Schleger

Elizabeth (Betty) Schleger, 76, of Ocala, Florida, formerly of Zion, died August 27, 2007 in Florida. Betty was born July 7, 1931 in Eden, Wisconsin. She was a former member of Our Lady of Humility Church, and retired in 1989 from Lake County Housing as a housing agent. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, and was a Navy wife for 26 years. Betty is survived by her husband of 57 years Donald W. Schleger; 2 sons Charles (Debbie) Schleger of Buckeye, Arizona, Michael Schleger of Las Vegas, Nevada; 3 daughters Terri (Tim) Poulsen of Beach Park, Samantha Schleger of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Tamara (Mel) Letson, of Eaton Rapids, Michigan; 10 grandchildren Chris and Heidi Schleger, Angela Schleger, Christina Besir, Nicole and Eric Poulsen, Megan Schneider, Kevin and Andrew Phillis, and Brandon Lampson; 7 Great-grandchildren; and one sister Delores (Bob) Ruggles of Silver Springs, Florida. She was preceded in death by her mother Marie LeBeau; one grandson David Schleger, and one brother-in-law Eugene Brookins. Private services were held in Ocala, Florida.
