Edward Jaronik Jr

March 26, 1948 — August 21, 2026

After a brave, two-decade battle with cancer, Edward Jaronik Jr. passed away in late August.

Known for his love of golf, cheese and traveling with friends and loved ones, Ed approached it all with humor and an infectious laugh. There was never silence in his house, not just because the TV was turned up too loud, but because Ed was always talking to someone. Always sharing stories like they were currency. And always making sure a joke or two snuck into the conversation.

Above all, family meant everything to Ed. He took his role as father and grandfather seriously and was always willing to help. He was kind, loving and unconditionally supportive.

Ed had a near-encyclopedic memory for all things golf, movies and TV shows. If you wanted to know the name of an actor who starred in a TV show he watched as a kid, he knew it. Ed was also a proud Army veteran, famously sharing his claim to fame for being recruited by a three-star general to play as a regular on his golf team. He also loved his time in the Boy Scouts as a child and regularly recounted his adventures and hijinks.

Ed is survived by his children and grandchildren, who are thoroughly heartbroken by his absence. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, as well as his parents.

The family would like to thank dad’s care team who came to our aid when we needed it most.

Services will be held privately.
