Donna Szekely

Donna "Dee-Dee" Szekely, 62, of Winthrop Harbor, died on Tuesday, October 7, 2008, at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. Dee-Dee was born April 19, 1946, in Painesville, Ohio, and married Martin Szekely on June 23, 1967, in Painesville. She was formerly employed as a real estate agent. Dee-Dee was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her favorite hobby was sewing. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Martin Szekely; sons, Daniel (Candice) Szekely of Winthrop Harbor, IL, and Kenneth (Kristen) Szekely of Wooddale, IL; grandchildren, Zachery and Bella Szekely; brother, Robert R. Pfingsten of Ohio; sisters, Mary Ann Repasky of Beach Park, IL, and Nancy Pfingsten of Winthrop Harbor, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ida Pfingsten. Funeral Services are private for the family
