Donna Lynn Markadonis

Donna Lynn Markadonis (nee Melton), Age 65, born in Shell Lake, WI went home to her Eternal Lord surrounded by her loving Family.

Donna is survived by her parents, Edward & Evelyn (Micken) Melton; Beloved husband of 48 years, Evangelos Markadonis; children Dionysos (Michelle), Andronicka, Danaë (Chad), Zachariah (Amanda), Benjamin (Crystal), and Ryan; grandchildren Bishop, Tyffani, Molly, Bailey, Macy, Ronnie, Aric, Brock, Micah, Liam, Evan, and Lucas; great grandchildren Jonah & Mateo; siblings Kent, Lois (Robert), Cindy (Kenneth), Patti, Barbara, and Beverly; as well as numerous nieces & nephews.  Donna is preceded in death by her grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Earl Melton and Mr. & Mrs William Micken; brothers Alan and Stanley; and niece Kari.

Donna lived a full life and had a personal relationship with her lord and savior.  Her greatest pleasures were raising her children and caring for her grandchildren.  Donna was a fantastic decorator, gardener, and shopper with a keen eye for antiques. Animals were another great love in her life and she dedicated herself to advancing their humane treatment.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, June 17, 2017at Beach Bible Church, 3520 21st Street, Zion, IL 60099.  In lieu of flowers make donations to WAGS of Waukegan.
