Diane Nord

Diane Lynn Nord, 74, of Beach Park, IL, passed away in Des Plaines, IL on May 30, 2025.

Diane was born in Waukegan, IL on April 24, 1951. She graduated High School then started her career at Abbott Laboratories where she worked for over 30 years before retiring. Diane enjoyed going to plays, concerts, movies, and reading. She loved to travel, trying different restaurants, and shopping. Most importantly though, Diane loved to spend time with her family and friends.

Diane is survived by her brother, Gary Nord; godchildren, Natalie Lucas and Billy Davis and special friend Dana Morse.

Diane is preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Grace Nord and brother, Steven Nord.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that you please donate to Melrose Park Free Methodist Church, 841 Elsie Drive, Melrose Park, IL in Diane's name.

Visitation will be held at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL, from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 followed by a funeral service at 11:00 A.M.. Following the service Diane will be laid to rest in Mt. Olivet Memorial Park in Zion, IL.
