Diane Newman

Diane Paris Newman, 74, of Waukegan, IL, passed away peacefully on October, 16, 2026 in Kenosha, WI.

Diane was born on February 1, 1952 to Sandy Newman and Dorothea Hoyle (Nelson) in Waukegan. Diane was raised in Waukegan, and studied medical records and data entry. She worked for Saint Therese Hospital, and ultimately retired from Lake County Health Department. Diane was a connoisseur of dolphins, dragons, Star Wars, Game of Thrones, Chicago Cubs and other Chicago sports teams.

Diane will be deeply missed and remembered by her siblings Larry (Kathy) Hoyle of Antioch, Brenda (Mark) Tait of Winthrop Harbor, Rosie (Mike) Maglio of Winthrop Harbor, and Cindy (Bob) Saffell of Zion, as well as multiple nieces and nephews. 

She is proceeded in death by both of her parents, and her life partner Billy Vaughn.

A chapel service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026 at 11:00 am at Mount Olivet Memorial Park in Zion, IL.
