Diane Layburn

Diane Joy Layburn, 66, of Park City, IL, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on March 31, 2026, in Chicago, IL.

Diane was born on April 7, 1959, in Waukegan, IL, the daughter of Richard and Nancy (Hughes) Baker. She worked at the Naval Exchange store on the naval base. She married Allen Layburn on April 30, 2005, at Trinity United Lutheran Church in Waukegan, where she was a member. She loved fishing, crocheting, and going on cruises visiting the Eastern, Southern, and Western Caribbean.

Diane is survived by her loving husband, Allen Layburn; brothers, Richard "Rick" (Mary Lynn) Baker, Michael "Mick" Baker, and Scott (Peggy) Baker; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Denise Cartwright.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 658 Grand Ave, Waukegan, IL 60085.
