April 14, 1969 — January 26, 2026

Dallas E. Nash, 56, of Waukegan, Illinois passed away on January 26, 2026 in Des Plaines, IL.

He was born on August 14, 1969 in Waukegan, IL the son of George and Iona (Jones) Nash. Dallas lived a life full of laughter, warmth, and unforgettable moments. Growing up at 2913 Gideon in Zion, he built lifelong memories surrounded by siblings, cousins, and neighborhood friends who helped shape the joyful, spirited man he became. He found happiness in the simplest and most meaningful things: fishing at his favorite spots, cooking out during his legendary Leo Parties, and entertaining friends and family with an energy that made everyone feel like they belonged.

Dallas had a natural gift for sharing wisdom, offering advice, and lifting spirits with humor that could brighten any room. His stories, jokes, and larger than life presence made him unforgettable. Anyone who knew him can still hear his signature greeting: “Lil Tex, what it do — Real Talk.” It wasn’t just a saying—it was pure Dallas: real, loving, welcoming, and full of personality. Dallas cherished his family deeply and took pride in the love they shared. Whether supporting his loved ones through challenges or celebrating milestones, he was the steady, joyful heart at the center of it all.

The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to every friend, neighbor, coworker, and loved one who has come together to honor Dallas. Your presence at this service—your prayers, hugs, stories, and love—means more than words can say. Dallas leaves behind a legacy of laughter, loyalty, and love. May his spirit continue to shine in every memory, every smile, and every moment of joy he inspired.

Dallas is survived by his two daughters; Darion Nash of Zion, IL, and LaTroya Rinvil of Kenosha, WI; grandson, Zy’Air Nash of Zion, IL, Najhi Henry, Jeremih Henry, Miyonnah Hooker; three sisters, Patty Nash- Martin of San Diego, CA, Wanda Nash of Sturtevant, WI, and Beverly Nash-McCardell of Zion, IL; life partner and special friend, Linda Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
