Clarice V. Pushee

Clarice Velina Pushee, 82, passed away in Waukegan, Illinois on November 10, 2025.

Clair was born on July 29, 1943 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, where she grew up and graduated from high school. She found work at Baxter and later Cardinal Health Care. However, Clair found most of her fulfillment in life through her family and friends. She loved anything BINGO related and would often spend time volunteering at the Winthrop Harbor Lions Club's BINGO, where she made a lot of her friends. When Clair wasn't enjoying BINGO she would spend her time meeting new people and hanging out with old friends at the Zion Moose Lodge.

 Clair is survived by her daughter, Heide Schlitz nee Pushee of Frisco, Texas; grandchildren, Angela (Donnie) Wheat of Frisco, TX, Charlie Pushee of Winthrop Harbor, IL, Rillee Pushee of Winthrop Harbor, IL; four great-grandchildren; and brother, Dennis Pecore of Lyndon Station, WI.

Clair was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Pushee (2006); son, Charles Pushee (2015); and son-in-law, Thomas Schlitz (2024).

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025 at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. followed directly by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. 

Interment will be held at Mount Olivet Memorial Park in Zion, IL after the service. 

In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations in Clair's name to Winthrop Harbor Lions Club or Lions International.
