Charles Andrew Esobedo,69, of Beach Park, IL passed away at his home surrounded by his family on October 18, 2021. He was born on March 30, 1952 the son of Valentine (Mary Ann Zambrano) Escobedo. Charles graduated from Zion Benton High school before marrying his loving wife Carol November of 1985 in Waukegan,IL. After graduating high school he began working for Captain Security, Ace Hardware, Custodian of his church Lake County Baptist Church where he was a member for thirty years, and as a Locksmith, where he shared his passion with his son Joshua who followed him as an apprentice. If he wasn't fixing things at work he was doing his honeydew list at home with his children's help by his side. In his free time he loved word searches and puzzles, working on cars. He loved his family dearly and believed if the entire family wasn't there it didn't count. Charles loved cheering for his daughter Sylvia at her volleyball games or cheerleading competitions, if he wasn't there he was taking Josh and Sylvia paintballing. Charles leaves behind his wife Carol; children Joshua Escobedo, Sylvia (Christopher) Bout, Brandon Rieley; siblings Paul (Patricia) Escobedo, Marilyn Escobedo, Irene Escobedo, Elaine Escobedo; many nieces, nephews,cousins and dear friends. Charles is preceded in death by his parents. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. t0 6:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 6:00 p.m. at Lake County Baptist Church located at 1550 W Yorkhouse Road, Waukegan, IL 60087. Interment will be private.
