Carmella Miceli

Carmella Marie (née Manzella) Miceli, passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 5, 2021, at Crossroads Care Center in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Carmella was born January 7, 1932, in Independence, Louisiana. She was united in marriage to John Carlo Miceli, who preceded her in death in 1985. Daughter of John Manzella and Jessie Lee Falcone, she was the last survivor of this Manzella generation and was preceded by her brothers, Jackino, Joseph, Frank and Anthony Manzella. As part of the Falcone family, she is survived by her brother Larry and preceded by her brothers Leon, Peter, Russel and Chris Falcone. Carmella dedicated her life to her family and love of Jesus Christ. A strong faithful woman, she read the Bible daily and followed its teachings through her actions and prayer. Carmella was also an avid reader of American Western novels. She is survived by her five children, who were an important part of her life; Placito Miceli, John Miceli, Helen Miceli Swanik, Mary Miceli, and Dr. Frank Miceli. Funeral services and visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Friday January 8, 2021, at Congdon & Company, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, Illinois. Her Burial is without procession at Pine View Cemetery, 10750 W. Beach Road, Beach Park, Illinois.
