Blanche Moore was born on October 6, 1937, in Chicago, IL to Kenneth and Helen Welch, and grew up in Wilmette, IL with siblings Wayne, Greg and Marcy. She had a well-rounded life.
Blanche met Dennis Moore and they married on February 7, 1957 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Evanston, IL. They divorced in 1980, and she never got remarried.
She lived simply as a homemaker, excelled at gardening and caring for her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Elizabeth Helen, Kevin Charles, Kathleen Marie, and Dennis Patrick. Blanche contributed to upbringing of her granddaughter, Amber Faith, and her grandson, Robert Vincent. She is also survived by her grandsons, Stephen Patrick and Andrew Michael; a great-granddaughter, Ingrid Nora; and several nieces and nephews; sons-in-law Daniel Thomas Jones, and William Edward Skaggs; daughter-in-law Dawna Christine Moore; and Amber's boyfriend, Andy Schineidewind.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne; mother, Helen; father, Kenneth; and her ex-husband, Dennis.
The family will hold a spring Celebration of Life and place her ashes at St. Luke's Episcopal Church beside her parents.
