Barbara Walters

Barbara Walters, 66, of Zion, Illinois passed away September 13, 2025 in Lake Forest, Illinois. She was born December 21, 1958 in Norfolk, Virginia to parents Angelo and Jewel Pishnery.

Barbara previously lived in Gurnee, Illinois, graduating from Warren Township Highschool.

She is survived by her children, Sarah (James) Box and Elizabeth (Nick) Walters; grandchildren, James, Terra, and Kat; siblings, Carrie Lynn Atchley (Pishnery), Paul Pishnery, and Tracy (Terry) Haupt, as well as many nieces, nephews, and their children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Angelo and Jewel Pishnery.

A memorial visitation will be held October 3, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home 3012 Sheridan Road Zion, Illinois.
