Barbara J. Baruffi

Barbara Jean (Skalla) Baruffi, 88 of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025 at home surrounded by family.

Barbara was born in Waukegan, Illinois on January 15, 1937. The daughter of Joseph & Myrtle

(Dreyer) Skalla. She graduated from Mother of God Grade School in Waukegan and Holy Child High School in Waukegan Illinois. She was a member of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church in Kenosha, Wisconsin. On May 9, 1959, Barbara was united in marriage to the love of her life, Ronald J. Baruffi in Waukegan, Illinois. He preceded her in death in July of 2018.

Barbara loved to visit with family and friends, watch sports, crochet blankets, sew, be outside in the yard, and watch the birds come and visit her bird feeders.

Barbara is survived by her children, Mary Kay Goebel, James Baruffi, Beth Baruffi &John Baruffi; daughter-in law, Kim Baruffi; grandchildren, Eric, Amy, Ronald (RJ), Joey, Nick, Jimmy, Danielle, Maggie and Tony; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Ciancio & Georgine Rehor; sister-in-laws, Maralyn Brown and Margaret Stoltz; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and god-children.

In addition to her husband, Barbara was preceded in death by her sons, Joseph Baruffi and Jerome (Jerry) Baruffi; grandson, Johnny Baruffi; sister, Mary Howell; and brother-in-law, Roy (Doris) Burris.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025, at 10:00 am at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2020-91s' Street, Kenosha Wisconsin until time of mass at 11:00 a.m. Barbara will be laid to rest at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville, Illinois.
