Audrey Duncan

Audrey Duncan, 97, of Round Lake, Illinois formerly of Zion, Illinois passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025.

Audrey was born in Detroit, Alabama the daughter of John Thomas and Ila Belle (Loggins) Gilmore. Audrey was a faithful Chrisitian. She attended First Baptist Church of Winthrop Harbor, IL and Journey Church in Beach Park, IL. She worked as a seamstress and worked for MicroSeal Corporation until retiring. She was an avid Bear's fan and enjoyed gardening and rummage sales. 

Audrey is survived by her daughter-in-law, Dorothy Duncan; grandchildren, Scottie Duncan, and Deanna (Brian) Calendine; great-grandchildren, Jessica(Brian) Smith, Rebecca (Andy) Spencer, and Ian Duncan; great-great-grandchildren, Brooklynn, Wyatt, Anderson, Savannah, Addison, Jackson, Avery, and Levi.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elihue Duncan; sons, Eugene Duncan, and Wayne Duncan; great-grandson, Matthew Calendine; siblings, Josephine, Levina, Arzina, Marie, Jessie Lee, Murray, Opal, Burley, Birdine, Magdeline. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd. Zion, IL 60099. Burial will follow at Benton Greenwood Cemetery in Beach Park, IL.
