Anthony J. Simon, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, passed away April 9, 2026 in Kenosha. He was born March 31, 1966 in Highland Park, Illinois.
Anthony previously lived in Waukegan, Illinois where he graduated from Waukegan High School. He was employed by EMCO Chemical Distributors for over 35 years. He enjoyed spending time with family and watching his grand kids play sports. Tony also enjoyed watching NASCAR, sports, or just sitting around a campfire. He was a member of High Rollin Vans. He loved Vanning and being around fellow Vanners. Tony was always there when you needed him. Whether it was to lend a hand, or an ear, or more often crack a joke. He touched so many hearts and lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his Life Partner, Beth A. Medina; children, Jacquelynn M. Medina (Alan J. Gates Sr.), Destanie R. Lugo (Christopher Lugo I) and Isreal D. Medina; grandchildren, Anthony M. Evans, A’Miyah M. Duffie, Alan J. Gates Jr., Isreal D. Medina, Izzyk D. Medina, Izzy M. Medina, Jayden A. Castellanos, Christopher D. Lugo II, and Levi L. Lugo; mother, Luerie D. Simon; sister, Denice Coleman; and nephews, Christopher Lewis-Coleman and Alexander Coleman.
He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin J. Simon and sister, Antoinette H. Simon.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 17, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home 3012 Sheridan Road Zion, Illinois 60099 followed by interment at Highland Memorial Park 33100 N. Hunt Club Road Libertyville, Illinois 60048.
