Obituary of Joseph Merritt Saxon

Joseph Merritt Saxon, 53, of Waukegan, IL died October 1, 2015 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. He was born July 1, 1962 in Waukegan, IL and graduated from Waukegan High School in 1981. He worked for Lake County Press as a pressman and more recently, at Glenn Rieder as a wood finisher. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing, golfing, building car models, and most importantly spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his siblings, Charles M. Saxon, Margaret M. Saxon, Edward M. Saxon, Mary Ellen Urbaitis, Mercedes A. Roberson, and William Meade Saxon; nieces and nephews, Lindsay Urbaitis, Amy Urbaitis, Christopher Saxon, John Urbaitis, Eric Porter, Lauren Saxon, Emily Saxon, and Ryan Saxon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Margaret Saxon. Services will be private for the family. Interment will take place at All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL.
