Obituary of Clara H. Fratus

Clara H. Fratus, 91, of Libertyville, IL, formerly of Zion and Waukegan, died on June 17, 2015, at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. She was born July 20, 1923, in Racine, WI, and married her late husband William Fratus on May 4, 1940 in Dubuque, Iowa. Clara had been a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Waukegan. She was retired from Victory Memorial Hospital where she was employed for over 20 years. Clara was also a member of the Swedish Glee Club in Waukegan. Survivors include her children, Fred (Judy) Fratus of Scottsboro, AL, Penny (Ronald) Pfeiffer of Glenwood, AR, and Denise (John) Russell of Canyon Country, CA; grandchildren, Fred and William Fratus and Desiree and Dana Russell; and great-grandchildren, Dustin and Jeremy Fratus, and Xander, Brandon, and Serenity Russell. She was preceded in death by her husband, William; sisters, Mildred Knop and Margaret Jereb; and parents, Harold and Anna Phillips. Funeral Services are private for the family.
