Obituary of David Terrence Wagner

David Terrence Wagner, 47, of Winthrop Harbor, IL, formerly of Zion, IL, died on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at home. He was born March 20, 1967, in Oak Lawn, IL, and was a graduate of Zion-Benton Township High School. David married Cindy Feltner on March 1, 1986, in Waukegan. He was a former employee of Harry Alter in Gurnee and Motorola in Palatine. David was a loving and devoted husband, father and brother. He was a special man with a big heart, unique in his own special way. David was a funny man and everyone who met him loved him. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Cindy; children, Jonathan Wagner, David Wagner, and Stephanie Wagner, all of Winthrop Harbor; sisters, Mary Chris Wagner of Beach Park, IL, Diane (Alan) Divoky of Fox Lake, IL, Maureen (Rick) Urbina of Waukegan, IL, Donna (Richard) Cecil of Winthrop Harbor, IL, and Trisha (Brad) Walters of Beach Park, IL; brother-in-law, Brian (Beth) Feltner of Cary, IL; sister-in-law, Tammy (Rob) Peterson of Milwaukee, WI; mother-in-law, Rita Feltner of Winthrop Harbor, IL; special family, Terri Feltner; Wanda and Mark Oelke; and Scott and Monica Wagner. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Terrence and Shirley Wagner. Visitation will be held at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL, from 5:00-9:00 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2015. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Northshore Garden of Memories, North Chicago, IL.
